Maitake mushroom also known as "Hen of the Woods," and in Japan, Maitake means "dancing mushroom," a name that historical lore suggests was derived from the Samurai, and it is believed that the Samurai danced for joy upon discovering these highly valued edible treasures.

DOUBLE EXTRACTION METHOD

An overnight re-saturation  in cold water of dried mushroom, blended and simmered for 2 hours and strained. The contents are added to 190 organic proof alcohol and macerated for 30 days, shaken lovingly daily. The water extraction is then added to the alcohol, mixed well and bottled.
