Dried manzanita berries with seeds and skins which taste like the finest apple flavored sugar. Mix with your oatmeal, baked goods, or make acorn flour cookies with it. Berries dried on the bush locally and ethically foraged. Grind the berries into a powder and sift out the seeds and skins. Use the seeds and skins to make manzanita cider by soaking them in cold water over night. Tastes like a mix between lemonade and apple cider!

Hello, we are Redding Forager's Association. The goal here is to make wild foods and medicines more available to people who have a hard time accessing these products while simultaneously having a positive impact on the local ecosystems where we harvest them. We do this by having conservative harvest procedures and by giving back more than we take. A large portion of our time is dedicated towards propagating native plants to be planted in areas in need of restoration- especially those areas devastated by wildfires.

Your orders on this store go 100% towards supporting these local restoration efforts in Northern California.

Our full line of products is available direct at Redding Forager dot com.
